Itinerary

Well we have finally seen our flight itinerary for Vietnam. Luckily we are not having a long layover in LA, but we are having one in Seoul on our way back. Below is the plan.

Going:
6:30 a.m. - 7:30 a.m.  DFW to Denver
8:40 a.m. - 10:04 a.m. Denver to LA
1:10 p.m.  - 6:10 p.m. LA to Seoul (Longest flight! With all the time zone changes, it is 13 hours long)
7:10 p.m. - 10:40 p.m. Seoul to Ho Chi Minh

Coming Home:
11:50 p.m. - 6:50 a.m. Ho Chi Minh to Seoul
4:30 p.m. - 11:30 a.m. Seoul to LA (There is that 13 hour one again)
3:35 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. LA to DFW

Of course there is a lot of time changes in there, but from 6:50 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. we are going to be stuck in a foreign country's airport!! (Seoul, Korea) Oh, I hope I bring enough books to read.

Here we go!

It has been requested that we blog about our upcoming trip to Vietnam, so here goes. We have purchased our tickets. They were $2,310 for the both of us. Our flight will take us from DFW to Denver to Los Angeles (where we get to spend 7 hours on lay over) to Seoul to Ho Chi Minh City. We are leaving DFW on June 7th at 6:30 in the morning and will make it to Ho Chi Minh City around 10:00 the next morning. We have requested our visas, which the travel company is taking care of for us.

Feelings about our trip. The biggest concerns we have are language and food (The food is just me.) Luckily Mitchell's dad will be with us for most of the trip, so we will not be completely lost on language. I am planning to pack some peanut butter and other goodies to take with us.

We will be staying in Vietnam for 3 weeks. During that time we will spend most of it with Mitchell's grandmother, aunts, and uncles. We do not know where we will be staying yet, but hopefully we will find out soon. The middle week of our trip Mitchell and I are going to go off on our own to another part of the country.

That's all for now.
